The Pinoy Biggest Loser Fab Five Feel Already Like Winners

Only three days to go before the grand finale of the country’s largest reality show series The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition and grand weigh-in of all the contestants. But as early as now, the Fab Five said that they already feel like winners to be part of the show’s first season contenders.

Twenty-six-year-old Angela admitted she feels more content about her weight now. “Siyempre lahat kami pumasok sa camp na gusto naming lahat pumayat. So heto na binigay naman sa amin. Actually kung ako tatanungin, okay eh. Panalo na ako. Kung ano man yung kinalalagyan ko ngayon, kahit hindi lang sa akin, lahat kami panalo kami hindi naman lahat talaga nabigyan ng chance na ma-experience yung experience namin so nagpapasalamat ako kung nasaan man ako ngayon.”

The only other female finalist, 22-year-old Hazel admitted she also shares the same feeling of contentment as Angela. “Ang pinaka-goal ko talaga is to lose the weight tapos sabi ko sa sarili ko pag dumating ako sa puntong yun, I’d be super happy. Sabi ko nga before, kung ang ibigay na blessings ni Lord bumubuhos talaga. So right now kung tatanungin ako kung kuntento ako, yes I am contented as of now. And feeling ko, wala na akong iba pang mahihiling kasi overwhelmed ako sa lahat ng blessings ngayon,” she said.

Hazel’s first boyfriend, co-finalist Raffy whom she met inside the camp, said he had a lot of realizations about his life during the camp. “At first, before kami pumasok, iniisip namin na ito yung game na papayat kami so feeling namin heto na yun, pero ang dami naming na-realize. Like ako, dito ko na-realize na mahal ko pala family ko and dito ko na-realize na for me to fulfill my dreams, kailangan ko rin i-fulfill yung dreams nila. Kasi ako yung dapat maging tatay sa amin. Parang ito yung start ng training para makuha ko yung ultimate dream,” he explained.

Former civil servant Larry said that his joining the BLPE was a way of turning his life around after dealing with obesity. “Nung nakikita ko pa lang sa TV, pangarap ko ng makapasok sa Biggest Loser. Alam ko na dito magbabago buhay ko, na ‘pag pumayat ako mababawi ko yung buhay ko, mapapagpatuloy ko yung pangarap ko sa buhay na maalagaan ko pamilya ko hanggang sa tumanda sila at magka-asawa. Yun talaga yung pangarap ko,” he said.

Businessman Art on the other hand, said his concern was for his health above all things, even though he also echoes the same sentiments as his co-finalists in the show. “Actually, all my dreams, I really try to accomplish all of them. But I have one dream, which is to live longer. Kasi I didn’t think I was going to live long. I was 341 pounds entering the camp. Pero mga two months before that I was 360. So my only dream right now is to actually live longer so I can have more dreams,” he shared.

ABS-CBN Child Stars in 'Diyos ay Pag-Ibig'

Child stars Zaijian Jaranilla, Mutya Orquia, Xyriel Manabat and Louise Abuel will work together in ABS-CBN's upcoming series titled "Diyos ay Pag-Ibig."

During the show's story conference, Jaranilla said "Diyos ay Pag-Ibig" is about Christmas and love.

"Tungkol po ito sa Pasko, sa pagmamahalan at sa pagbibigayan, at sa pagmamahalan po naming apat. Para po kaming magkakapatid," he said.

Manabat and Abuel, for their part, said they are excited to work on their new project.

"Excited po ako kasi po marami na naman akong makakasamang artista," Manabat said.

"Excited ako makakasama ko kasi ang mga artistang bata na magagaling," Abuel said.

"Diyos ay Pag-Ibig" aims to bring Filipinos closer to God this Christmas season.

The series is directed by Jojo Saguin and Erick Salud, and also stars Bembol Roco, Alfred Vargas and Dimples Romana.

Sam Milby Wants to Work with Toni Gonzaga Again

Actor Sam Milby said he would love to do another movie with television host Toni Gonzaga.

"Wala pa namang plano sa ngayon, pero sana magkaroon. I definitely miss doing movies with Toni," he said in an interview with Push.com.ph after Gonzaga's 10th anniversary concert.

Milby and Gonzaga were paired in several Star Cinema box office movies including "You Got Me," "You Are the One," "My Big Love" and "Ang Tanging Pamilya."

The hunk actor said he also wants to do a TV series with the singer-actress.

"Kahit sa teleserye gusto ko rin makatrabaho siya. Maybe next year, sana magkaroon kami ng project together," Milby said.

Meanwhile, Milby was surprised when he learned that Paul Soriano used to get jealous of him when the director and Gonzaga were just starting out as a couple.

"Ay talaga? Well, Toni and I were really close before," he said.

Milby added that Soriano's reaction was completely understandable.

"I think any guy who gets into a relationship with any girl knowing na meron siyang ibang guy na naging close noon...Of course I really had feelings for Toni before. Siguro if I were a guy too na may girlfriend, I would be jealous as well, so understandable 'yun. Pero matagal na 'yun. Okay na okay kami ngayon ni [Paul]," he said.

"That was a long time ago. Direk Paul and Toni have been together for a long time. She's very happy now. I'm really happy for her. We're still friends and I just really appreciate the friendship that she has been giving me until now," he added

Sharon Cuneta Has No Reason to Leave ABS-CBN

Megastar Sharon Cuneta finally broke her silence on rumors that she is planning to move to a rival television network.

In an interview after her successful concert in Europe, Cuneta stressed that she is happy working in ABS-CBN.

"So far, yes I'm happy with ABS-CBN," she said.

"I have no idea what's going on back home. I just got word from boss Vic (del Rosario) that he would like to sit down with me when I get home, something important has come up. Ang dami kong naririnig na mga tsismis pero wala pa naman akong nakakausap.

"At this point in my career, I don't see yet any reason to leave ABS-CBN. I love Ma'am Charo (Santos-Concio, ABS-CBN's president and chief operating officer) very much."

She stressed, however, that she is open to hearing from other people who want to offer her more opportunities.

Cuneta recently wowed hundreds of Filipino fans in a concert at the Arcotel in Vienna, Austria on Saturday with her hits such as "Mr. DJ."

The concert also featured Angeline Quinto, winner of Cuneta's defunct talent search "Star Power."

Cuneta said she is willing to go back to Europe to perform, if given a chance.

"It would probably be nice to do a show in, maybe in Italy or Rome, and bump into other Filipinos again. Basta go around Europe," she said.
