Titled “ANNE-Bisyosa,” Curtis told ABS-CBN News that her first CD is expected to be released in August of this year.
“I’ve been waiting for 14 years for an album, buong career ko. It’s really a dream for me to have an album. Isa siya sa mga nasa bucket list ko… I’m a frustrated singer kasi,” she said.
She joked that it might be her first and last album so she gave all her best when she recorded the songs.
Curtis has duets with Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo and Andrew E. She disclosed that she and Geronimo belted out “Total Eclipse of The Heart.”
“Sarah was very nice to agree to sing a duet with me. Pati si Andrew E., and then if I could have more guests in my album, I would. For now, ‘yon muna. Lahat solo ko,” she said.
She added that her album is fun and should not be taken seriously.
“I’m so happy. People are supporting it. Nakakatawa pero hindi pinagtatawanan. Something fun lang talaga,” she said.
Meantime, Curtis considers the billboard issue closed.
“Bahala na sila. There are more other things to focus on but at least it’s over and done with. We’ve already said our piece,” she said.
On Monday, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) ordered Curtis and Angel Locsin’s billboards pulled out along Boni-Edsa for lack of permit.
An MMDA press statement said the billboards showed the 2 actresses both clad in bras.
But Curtis said the MMDA could have been mistaken since she has no such billboard.
“I really don’t know. I think nagkamali lang sila. Wala akong ganoong billboard along Edsa-Boni,” she said. “Medyo weird pero I guess people make mistakes… If they’re going to make an issue lang, sana lang kinaklaro nila.”
She also said that all her billboards are still up.
Amid speculations that he is going to jump ship, actor Derek Ramsay announced Wednesday that he will remain a Kapamilya star.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Ramsay said: “Yes, I will remain a Kapamilya. I have a network with the network that I will stay true to.”
“I feel like the network has taken care of me. I love hosting ‘The Biggest Loser’ and changing people's lives,” he added.
Aside from his hosting stint on ABS-CBN’s prime time show “The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition,” Ramsay also has two upcoming movies co-produced by Star Cinema and Viva Films where he is the lead star.
One of these is a comedy film with Vice Ganda, and the other one is a romantic drama with actresses Anne Curtis and Cristine Reyes.
Meanwhile, because of his several projects, Ramsay said he will temporarily take a break from playing for the Philippine national frisbee team.
Actor Rayver Cruz defended his real life sweetheart Cristine Reyes, who's being criticized for her behavior during Vice Ganda's concert last July 1 at Araneta Coliseum.
Report has it that the audience got disappointed with Reyes, who was Vice Ganda's guest at the concert. The two performed a skit during the show, wherein they had to vie for the attention of hunk actor Derek Ramsay.
In an interview, Cruz said his girlfriend just showed her real personality.
He added that he sees nothing wrong in Reyes' behavior during the show.
"Actually hindi ako na(inis) doon. Parang natuwa pa nga ako sa kanya kasi 'yon siya. 'Yon 'yong side niya na makulit. Hindi natin nakikita 'yon sa TV o sa mga interviews, pero noong concert nga daw ni Vice ay nakita natin 'yong side niya na makulit," Cruz told abs-cbnNEWS.com and other members of the press.
Cruz also cleared the issue that he and Reyes fought because the latter cuddled with hunk actor Derek Ramsay during the concert.
He stressed that he didn't get jealous of Ramsay.
"Wala 'yon. Kasama 'yon sa eksena. Nag-aagawan sila ni Vice kay Derek. Alam mo, si Derek, si Zanjoe at Gerald, 'yon 'yong mga taong hindi ko pagseselosan kasi mga kaibigan ko 'yan," Cruz said.
Concert King Martin Nievera said Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo has nothing to do with his recent absence in ABS-CBN's Sunday noontime show "ASAP Rocks."
Nievera's 29th anniversary celebration in ASAP did not push through last Sunday after he failed to show up.
In his official Twitter account, Nievera said Sarah's comeback had nothing to do with his absence.
@lyannekeith04 it never was about Sarah. I have the highest respect and love for her," Martin said via Twitter.
He added: "Maybe my sadness stems from the reality that ASAP can do without me. I see it for myself. It's a sad, happy pain."
Geronimo returned to ASAP last Sunday after a month-long leave to study dance and singing abroad.
Nievera posted the following tweets after failing to appear in the show last Sunday.
"u wanna know the sad truth? only if u have a persistent manager can u get the treatment u wish u had."
"loyalty, faithfulness, being there from the 1st day, NONE of this matters. all u need is a loud demanding manager."
Actor Jason Abalos admitted he is going out with actress Jewel Mische.
In an interview during a press conference for his newest afternoon series "Reputasyon," Abalos promptly clarified, however, that he has been going out with Mische only to go to church and attend service.
"Well, 'yon po. Naimbitahan po ako sa church nila at ako ay natutuwa dahil kumbaga magmula ng nag-showbiz ako eh ang layo ko sa Diyos. Nagpapasalamat ako sa kanya kasi siya ang dahilan para magbalik ako sa ating Maykapal," Abalos said.
Abalos proudly said that Mische is an angel sent from up above to guide him.
"Para sa akin isa siyang anghel para maisip na imbitahan kami para magbagong buhay," he added.
Abalos said he met Mische in Boracay with some of their friends.
The actor said that right now he's trying his best to attend the church service every week at Cathedral of Praise on Taft Avenue, not only because of Mische but for himself.
When asked if there's something special going on between him and Mische, Abalos replied: "Pwede kong ipagdasal 'yan. Sobrang bait niya. Kumbaga wala kang makikitang flaw."

Celebrities are a dime a dozen nowadays. Some become instant stars but fade away just as easily. Some establish a solid career not only because of sheer talent but because of their willingness to learn and acquire a different kind of versatility that’s possessed by just a few.
Take John Lloyd Cruz, for instance. He started as one of the many teen stars of Tabing Ilog, a sleeper hit of a TV program in the late ‘90s. Even then, there was already a certain seriousness and sensitivity in his acting. Through the years, he allowed himself to be honed into the complete package: actor of award-winning dramatic films and rom-com box-office hits, TV host, idol not only here but abroad, and even part of the funny dancing group Kanto Boys. Indeed, a perfect example of versatility.
Now, if John Lloyd was an ATM card, then that card had better carry the same qualities that John Lloyd possesses. This card should be useful not only for regular ATM transactions but should also have a value-added feature which clients should find very useful. It should be famous enough to be recognized and accepted in any part of the world and deliver quality every time.
Enter this new, better and powered-up ATM card. PSBank, a member of the Metrobank Group, introduces the PSBank Debit MasterCard which offers the convenience of cashless purchases and regular ATM transactions all in one card.
You don’t have to worry about bringing lots of cash or looking around for the nearest ATM to withdraw the amount you need. Simply present your PSBank Debit MasterCard in stores and restaurants that carry the MasterCard logo to pay. You can even use this for regular ATM transactions such as withdrawals, bills payment or account inquiries.
“We wanted to offer a power-packed version of our ATM card that would spell convenience, security and ease of transaction for our clients anywhere they may be. And we couldn’t think of a celebrity that best embodies all these but John Lloyd,“ PSBank Business Development Division Head Melissa Tong said.
“Just like John Lloyd, PSBank Debit MasterCard is really versatile, thanks to our partnership with MasterCard which opens wide its use and reach so that clients can now bring the PSBank Debit MasterCard - and nothing else - when they go out. It’s still a regular ATM card because you can still withdraw, pay your bills and check your account but you can also now use it for cashless transactions in restaurants and shops. Clients can get their own card in 30 minutes or less and immediately enjoy all these services,” Ms. Tong added.
The PSBank Debit MasterCard can be used in over 30.2 million MasterCard-affiliated merchants worldwide. It can also be used to withdraw from any BancNet, ExpressNet and Megalink ATMs locally and 1.6 million MasterCard or Maestro-Cirrus ATMs in over 210 countries. To help you monitor your finances and your budget, you can also view your account statement for your last five transactions, get your available account balance, pay your bills, transfer funds or change your PIN in over 400 PSBank ATMs nationwide.
It’s true what they say. If this card were a person, he’d probably be John Lloyd: famous, well-known and as local showbiz parlance says, hanep and astig! Get your own PSBank Debit MasterCard now by opening a PSBank ATM Savings Account, PSBank Passbook with ATM, PSBank Overseas Filipino Savings Account or PSBank Premium Checking Account at any PSBank branch.
For inquiries, call PSBank Customer Service at (632) 845-8888 anytime, any day or visit any of 187 PSBank branches nationwide.

With every game or match, Filipino athletes are known to fight with all their might and heart to bring glory to the nation. Unfortunately, they don’t usually get the support they truly need and deserve from home.
The Philippine Dragon Boat team, for example, has beaten superpowers in rowing to become world champions, but they still pack their own rice and canned goods to international competitions because they are not given pocket money.
There are even times they dive into the sea to find clams so that they have something to eat.
This Thursday (July 14) in “Krusada,” ABS-CBN senior sports correspondent Dyan Castillejo tries to put an end to this unfair treatment of Filipino athletes by exposing the politics in sports that has stood in the way of having them get proper support and recognition.
Dyan fought for medical assistance to our ailing Olympic boxers in the program before, and now she will continue her crusade for other national team players. This list includes swimmers who were disqualified to participate in a tourney because of politics, a Wushu artist who competed without allowance, and the members of the Karatedo team, who were given only one way tickets to the country they were fighting in.
Why do our athletes experience these challenges? Listen to their pleas and find out the whole story this Thursday (July 14) in “Krusada,” after “Bandila” on ABS-CBN. Because it takes more than words to make a stand, join Dyan Castillejo’s crusade. Post your comments on the issue and the episode on the “Krusada” Facebook fanpage
