The Albie Casiño - Andi Eigenmann Story

As people are curious to know who the real father of Andi Eigenmann's baby is, many also want to know more about her past love.

In past interviews, Eigenmann admitted and revealed her romantic relationship with newbie actor Albie Casiño.

Eigenmann, daughter of actress Jaclyn Jose and Mark Gil, knew Casiño for a very long time, even before she became the lead star of ABS-CBN's hit defunct TV series "Agua Bendita."

According to StarStudio, the 2 were childhood friends and Eigenmann was really close to Casiño's mother, Rina Casiño.

It also said that the 2 began dating before they joined showbiz. Casiño was introduced in Kapamilya's remake of the hit TV series "Mara Clara."

Like any ordinary couple the 2 would fight one day and make up the next day.

It was on May 6 when their relationship began to end. Eigenmann's friend Saab Magalona tweeted: "Thinking about a young actor who slapped my friend (his ex-girlfriend) makes me so angry. I hope his career goes nowhere!!>:(."
Her statement started speculations that it was Casiño who hurt Eigenmann.

Then a fan asked Casiño via Formspring if he really hit the actress.

The actor's response was: "So much bullsh*t. I never hit her. Maybe one of her many boys did. Andi's a cheater kasi she has maybe 10 guys. So yeah nope not me."

'She just loved me'

Days after his Formspring statement, Casiño admitted that he treated Eigenmann badly and that maybe his actions had driven her away and caused their breakup.

"I treated her so badly towards the end of our relationship. I just wanted her to leave me. All she ever did was love me and I took it for granted. I really never cared about it. Ask any of the people who knows us, everyone would agree to this," he said.

Casiño also earned the ire of Eigenmann's mother, Jaclyn Jose, who defended her daughter through a statement saying the young actress is not a cheater.

Casiño and his camp kept their silence about the whole thing, and via Twitter, Eigenmann expressed her pain because of him.

"The issue is not what he's done but how he's trying to ruin my life and let him be without defending him," Eigenmann said.

In June, StarStudio got the chance to talk to Eigenmann's father about the issue.

Gil admitted that he was hurt over what happened to his daughter but stressed that he's not harboring ill-feelings against Casiño.

On Wednesday, June 29, Jose admitted that her daughter is already 4 months pregnant.

On June 30, Eigenmann cleared the name of Jake Ejercito who was being tagged as the father of her baby.

She stressed that she only started seeing Ejercito 2 months ago.

Rayver Cruz Defends Cristine Reyes' Supposed Temper on the Set of Reputasyon

Cristine Reyes said that all is well between her and the staff member of her teleserye, Reputasyon with whom she had a tiff. Prior to this, the actress expressed her anger with the said production staff member via Twitter and said that people should do their job right by working properly and having the presence of mind. In an interview last Sunday, Cristine said she did not want to go into details regarding the issue and just addressed the matter, “Okay na ‘yon.”

However, boyfriend Rayver Cruz, who is also her leading man in Reputasyon provided more specific details. He said that he also listened to the side of the production staff member to really understand the matter. In defense of his girlfriend, Rayver said, “Kilala ko naman si AA (Cristine’s nickname) very honest, very strong, and hindi naman siguro siya gagawa ng ganung reaksyon kung wala siyang basehan.”

The issue started when Ogie Diaz made a blind item on Entertainment Live about an actress who allegedly gets temperamental when she is not in the mood during her taping. A few minutes after the blind item, Cristine posted her reactions on her Twitter and defended that showbiz insiders should find out what really happened. The sexy actress tweeted that she expressed her disappointment by slamming the door, and which did not go unnoticed by the production people. She made other tweets and confessed about her behavior because her co-workers were not doing their job well.

Rayver continued that the issue has been addressed and that the misunderstanding has been settled. “Ayos na, tsaka settled na ‘yon. May meeting kami for the promo and isiningit lang ang topic na ‘yon sa meeting pero settled naman agad, di naman big problem,” said Rayver.

On a lighter note, Cristine and Rayver agree that working with your real-life partner is advantageous. “Kasi sa taping ‘yung long hours of waiting naka-tengga ka lang, walang ginagawa, nakatitig ka lang sa ceiling. So mas maganda pag meron kang kasama ‘di ba?” Rayver added that having Cristine as a co-star makes him inspired to go to work. “Every taping day, may nilu-look forward ka agad na pumunta agad sa set kasi magkikita kayo.”

Sam Concepcion Excited to Play Peter Pan

This year has definitely been a busy and exciting year for Star Magic talent Sam Concepcion. The 18-year-old actor-singer recently got the experience of a lifetime being front act for concerts of international singing sensations Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus. He is currently seen in the weekend teen-oriented show Good Vibes.

He is also busy preparing for the month-long run of the STAGES and Repertory Philippines production of Peter Pan this coming September. “Honestly this year has been so great because I get to do different things at the same time. Through music I’m also able to act then I was the front act for Miley Cyrus and then I also get to act in TV and in the movie with the cast of Mara Clara. And then I also get to do theater this year which I’m really excited about,” he shared with Push.com.ph.

Although he has already been involved in a variety of theater productions from The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe to High School Musical, it is going to be Sam’s first time to play a unique version of the beloved children’s book character. “It’s going to be a different Peter Pan because it’s not the usual Peter Pan that we know. What’s so exciting about this is that it’s a little bit mature, a little bit older, the cast is older din. A little bit darker, not like the Disney kind of Peter Pan. Mas may depth siya. We’re going to have a lot of shows, probably 30 shows from September to October. One whole month of just shows,” he said. To prepare for the show, Sam said he has been getting further inspiration from the arts. “I listen to all kinds of music. I keep my mind open to all kinds of music and different genres. Just be open to variety and be diverse. I believe that I should take whatever things that inspire me and then put them together and that makes me who I am now,” he explained.

Sam said he also enjoys his role as Marc in Good Vibes, which has been dubbed as a teen dance musical drama anthology. “It’s been great so far. Our show has been extended so I’m really, really thankful to all the fans. It’s a big show, it has a huge following sa mga teenagers. What we do is just pool our talent and our ideas together to present something that hopefully that can inspire them and that it’s something they can relate to as teenagers because on the show we tackle usual situations and problems that teenagers face,” he said.

Off the set, Sam said he makes sure that he still prioritizes his education even with all the projects he has at the moment. “I’m home-schooled and it’s computer-based. What’s good about home schooling is that you can do it at your own pace and it fits into the whole lifestyle. I’m in 11th grade and I’ve been home-schooled since I was in 8th grade. It’s also a different kind of discipline,” he admitted.

Sa darating na Sabado (July 2), tututukan ni Ted Failon ang lumalaganap na krimen kung saan biktima ay taxi drivers sa ”Failon Ngayon.”

Si Edwin Benoso, 38, ay isa sa madaming taxi drivers na nakaranas ng karahasan sa kanilang pamamasada. Noong Ika-22 ng Mayo, habang bumabyahe siya sa may Malate ay pinara siya ng isang lalaki na nagpahatid sa Makati. Nagulat na lang siya ng tatlo pang lalake ang sumakay sa likod ng sasakyan at pagdating sa destinasyon ay biglang bumunot ng icepick ang nakaupo sa harapan at itinutok ito sa kanyang leeg sabay nagdeklara ng carnap.

Tinalian at inilagay si Edwin sa likurang ng sasakyan, hinampas ng baril at pinagsasaksak pa ng icepick. Coco Martin Torn Between Two Mothers on Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin

What is it like to have two moms? Starting this Monday on “Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin,” Coco Martin (as Javier) faces such dilemma. He get’s torn between Lorna Tolentino (Alondra) and Amy Austria-Ventura (Lora) who are both starting to fight over his custody.

“Kung iisipin, swerte yung taong may tinuturing dalawang nanay,” Coco shared. “Kasi maraming tao dyan ang naghahanap ng nanay nila pero wala.

Coco added, “Pero mas mahirap mamili sa dalawang nanay na gusto ka alagaan kaysa sa dalawang babaeng may gusto sayo (laughs). Syempre iba naman kasi ang level ng ina.”

Meanwhile, “Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin” still reigns on its timeslot according to Kantar Media last Wednesday (June 29). Earning a national rating of 24.9%, “Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin” nosed out its rival,“Munting Heredera” of GMA 7, which only got a 21.6% rating.

“Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin” airs weeknights on ABS-CBN after “Guns and Roses”.

Animal Survival Skills on Matanglawin

Can the madlang people be at par with animals when it comes to survival?

Kuya Kim answers this question via an experiment this Sunday (July 3) as he probes on animals’ survival skills in “Matanglawin.”

It’s definitely survival of the fittest in animalandia and each one has its own tactics to live. The pebble toad for example will jump off cliffs to avoid being eaten by tarantulas and the only thing that can save it is its ability to bounce like a ball.

The slow loris, degu, and elephant shrew, may be small and cute but these animals have poison, bad smells, and speed on their side to defend themselves.

Humans have their own way of surviving but can man adapt to the environment using the animals’ survival skills? The madlang people help out Kuya Kim for the answers.

Vice Ganda's Concert a Big Success

Vice Ganda was filled with so much gratitude for all those who watched his concert entitled Eto na! Vice Ganda, Todo Sample sa Araneta! last July 1. Fans and celebrities alike headed to Araneta Coliseum to witness the “unkagobable” production numbers and comic sketches by comedian/performer. Vice’s special guests for his concert included Billy Crawford, Toni Gonzaga, Xian Lim, Enchong Dee, Cristine Reyes, Derek Ramsay, and Coco Martin.

Those who attended the concert included Vhong Navarro, Nikki Gil, Bianca Gonzalez, Empress, Melissa Ricks, Ryan Bang, and ZsaZsa Padilla. Meanwhile, Kris Aquino revealed that she bought 56 tickets which she gave away to her friends as her way of supporting her friend.

“Hindi ko mabibilang lahat ng pumunta dito para sumuporta. May mga hindi rin nakapunta pero nagparamdam ng suporta sa text. Maraming salamat,” Vice said in an interview with Entertainment Live host, and his manager Ogie Diaz, inside the dressing room right after the concert.

When asked if he will do another major concert very soon, Vice answered, “Pwede. Pakikiramdaman natin. Mararamdaman mo naman ‘yan kapag gusto pa ng tao.”

Now that the concert is over after months of grueling preparations, the comedian expressed that he still has so much surprises in store for all his fans. “Hindi natatapos ang mga pasabog. Sabi nga ‘di ba, ‘When it rains, it’s four.’ (sic). Apat lagi ‘yan. Una ‘yung album, then ‘yung bagong TV show, ngayon itong concert, tapos merong namang movie.”
