Gash Bell! on ABS-CBN

One hundred Mamodo go to Earth every 1,000 years to battle to be the king of the Mamodo world. Each Mamodo needs a human partner in order to use his or her spell book, a book that seals the powers of the Mamodo. When read aloud, the spells are cast by the Mamodo producing many effects. If the spell book is burned, the Mamodo is forced to return to the Mamodo world, and they lose all claim to the position of the Mamodo king. While the spells in each book typically are different for each Mamodo, there are Mamodo that share spells, like Gash Bell and his evil twin brother, Zeno Bell. The human and their Mamodo gain these spells through experience and hard work. The last Mamodo standing without their book burnt is the new Mamodo king.

The story follows Kiyo Takamine, a 14-year old boy in junior high school. His father, Seitaro Takamine, discovers an unconscious child named Gash Bell while in a forest in England, and sends Zatch to live with Kiyo. Unlike the other Mamodo, Zatch lost his memory of the Mamodo world. Kiyo learns about the spell book when he reads a spell causing Zatch to fire lightning from his mouth. As Kiyo and Gash begin to encounter different Mamodos and learn more about the Mamodo battles, they discover that there are those who do not wish to fight and there are those who fight for the wrong reasons. After meeting a Mamodo named Kolulu and seeing how this kind Mamodo was forced to fight due to the power of her spells, Gash decides to become a kind king in order to stop the battle from ever happening again. As the story progresses, Gash and Kiyo meet other Mamodos that share similar views to them and become allies.

As the number of Mamodos decreases, Gash and his allies encounter a Mamodo called Zofis who takes control of several Mamodos who were sealed in stone from the previous battle to decide the king. After the battle against Zofis, the whole world is put in danger after a giant Mamodo named Faudo is brought to life by a Mamodo named Riou. Faudo is then taken over by a Mamodo that looks like Zatch, who turns out to be Gash's twin brother Zeno. Finally, when the number of Mamodos have decreased to ten, an evil and powerful Mamodo named Clear Note appears.

After many sacrifices, Clear Note is defeated leaving Gash and Brago the remaining Mamodos. After Kiyo's graduation ceremony, Gash and Brago battle and gash is crowned the Mamodo King. Three weeks later, a letter is sent from the Mamodos to their human partners. Gash's letter reveals that all is well in the Mamodo world.

Memorable Finale for Imortal

A memorable finale awaits the viewers of the phenomenal primetime series on ABS-CBN, Imortal, as it enters its final three weeks on air.

The Angel Locsin-John Lloyd Cruz series has ignited local primetime viewing with its intense dramatic scenes, heart-thumping action moves from its stars and unexpected twists for more than half a year. As it approaches its conclusion, the drama gets deeper, the action gets even more extreme and the plot gets more powerful.

Viewers are in for a non-cliché ending as the highly-regarded director of Imortal, Richard Somes and action director Lester Pimentel did not go with the usual way of how primetime programs are concluded.

John Lloyd expressed in an interview that being part of Imortal has been quite a journey for him. “Nung maguumpisa pa lang, naisip ko, naku ngayon lang ako papasok sa ganitong genre. I said yes to this project because I feel that it’s a way of giving back to my audience,” he mentioned. He added, “My role in Imortal is very memorable. Ngayon lang ako nag-leather jacket sa Maynila ha ha ha.”

Angel on the other hand considers being part of Imortal a blessing. “Blessing po talaga ang maging bahagi ng ganitong klaseng proyekto. Nalulungkot ako siyempre sa pagtatapos pero lahat kami ay masaya sa tagumpay na nakamit ng show. Lubos po ang pasasalamat ko sa lahat ng tumutok sa kwento, salamat po,” Angel shared.

Being constantly included in the top five most watched programs nationwide according to Kantar Media/TNS since it premiered, Imortal took entertainment to a higher notch as it provided its viewers with a website (http://imortal.abs-cbn.com) which features webisodes (“Anino’t Panaginip”) that reveal the hidden chapters of the series, an online game called “Pangil” and an art contest tagged as “Likhang Imortal.” The said website has already reached more than 12 million hits and still counting.

The final episodes of Imortal will zero in on Lia (Angel) and Mateo’s (John Lloyd) fight to keep their love safe and at the same time look after the welfare of the vampires and werewolves alike. With Lia’s memory of Mateo restored, their love blooms into marriage. With their successful love story comes their hope of achieving peace for their kind. Thinking that all is well, a new prophecy will hinder Lia and Mateo from attaining the peace that they want. How will the two battle the evil? What does the new prophecy speak about?

Hold on tight and get ready for more revelations in the last three weeks of Imortal, aired weeknights after Mara Clara.

Facebook Group Clears ABS-CBN on Willie Revillame's Controversy

Due to the allegations made by Willie Revillame that ABS-CBN was behind the people who's accusing him of child abuse, Froilan Grate issued a statement through the FB group Para kay Jan-jan (Shame on you Willie Revillame!):

This is to settle once and for all Mr. Willie Revillame’s allegations (and that of his supporters) that those who are against him are employees of ABS-CBN. While we deplore Mr. Revillame’s tactic of diverting the issue from that of child abuse incident on Willing Willie to that of being a network war, we feel there is a need to clarify and answer this issue to enable us to focus on the bigger issue at hand – that is, to end the exploitation of children for the sake of entertainment. The Facebook Page Para Kay Jan-jan (Shame on You Willie Revillame!), with more than 12,000 members in two weeks time, is a group of individuals who share two things – we believe that what happened on the March 12 episode of Willing Willie is a case of child abuse, and we believe that on our personal capacity we can do something to prevent this from happening again. We deplore being called cyber activist – this page was created to coordinate our efforts outside the virtual world. The creation of the page was not our goal, rather it was a means to achieve our goal. We may disagree on how we do things, but at the end of the day, we remember those two things that we share. As the one who started this page, I would like to make a full disclosure: I am not part of ABS-CBN or any other TV network in the country. Not before, not today and not in the near future. Those who doubt this could do a simple background search on Google. For the past 8 years, I have been an environmental advocate and educator. I could have chosen to hid behind the anonymity of the web when I started this Page, but I have decided against it. The reason is not for me to become famous, I never imagined that this community would grow to be this big. (In fact, I look forward to going back to the simplicity of my old life after this is all over, when we have achieved ALL our goals.) I believe in transparency. I felt my friends would be more willing to look at and study the issue if they know it was me who was promoting it. For more than a week, I was the sole administrator of the Page. That would mean 3 to four hours of sleep per night, the reason why my friends were bugging me to delegate and get additional admins. I initially resisted for two reasons: 1) I was paranoid that I don’t know who to trust. The new admin could just delete and ban people from the group and that would be chaos. 2) With the number of hate mails I get every day, I don’t want to subject another person to the same ordeal (because if there would be other admins, I would want to publish their names too). However, managing a community of 8,000 people (then), plus a few trolls here and there, proved to be too much of a challenge that it already affected my health, and most importantly my full time day job. So I requested five people to be co-admins. They were chosen based on their commitment to the cause and their willingness to volunteer their time. It is no joke to read about a thousand posts and comments from members every day, especially since we all have our day jobs. And most importantly, they were chosen because I believe I could trust them. Their names were published publicly for all members to see. One would eventually sign up for an entry level position in one of ABS-CBN’s creative departments. She was honest about this and asked that I reconsider her admin privileges. I believe she is a member of the group on her personal capacity, and as creator of the Page, I still retain full control of the Page that I could terminate her admin privileges if she crosses the line or if I feel she represents other interests already. For the past 5 days, she and the rest of the admins have acted responsibly and I see no reason why anyone should be removed as admins. The rest of the admins have already disclosed their background, and I have to leave it at that. I would like to disclose further that I have no close friends or relatives who work in ABS-CBN or in GMA. In fact, I have friends who work in TV5. And though they cannot support this Page publicly, they have been supporting this advocacy in their own way (I don’t want them to get in trouble, so I would rather not share how they helped us). In the end, however, I believe this is not an issue of where you work. No matter who your boss is, you never lose your constitutionally guaranteed freedom of expression. Because silence is betrayal. P.S. I would like to apologize to all the members of this community for any shortcomings that I have as administrator of this page. My apologies also to the other admins for this additional burden.

Willie Revillame's Controversy Reaches International News

The Willie Revillame issue put us into bad light as it reaches international news, here is the news from an Australian news website:

Source: http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/world/game-show-disgrace-highlights-sexual-exploitation-of-asian-children/story-e6frg6so-1226036852453

Totle: Game show disgrace highlights sexual exploitation of Asian children

IT is a story about show business and the lust for fame, the struggle between permissiveness and social conservatism, and child exploitation: it is a very Philippines sort of scandal.

Willie Revillame, the country's highest-paid TV identity, is under investigation for child abuse after he goaded a bawling six-year-old boy to gyrate like a male stripper before a guffawing live audience and millions of viewers.

In the March episode of Revillame's show, Jan-Jan Suan, tears streaming down his face, agreed to simulate a pelvic thrusting "macho dancer" - male stripper in The Philippines - in exchange for 10,000 pesos ($220) for his poor family.

Footage of Jan-Jan's televised humiliation quickly went viral.

Government ministers and religious leaders rushed to denounce the star. The Movie and Television Review Classification Board and Human Rights Commission announced investigations into allegations of child abuse.

At first glance, images of the skinny lad dancing nervously to a tune from rapper Snoop Dogg seem relatively innocuous.

But a closer look tells a more disturbing story. As Jan-Jan cries in distress while grimly bumping and grinding, the studio audience, including his family, is in fits of laughter, egged on by the host.

Merciless, Revillame pushes the six-year-old to keep dancing for money, mocking his performance as comparable to Burlesk Queen, the 1970s Philippines cult movie starring actress Vilma Santos (now a politician) as a bikini-clad cabaret performer whose sexy dance routine so traumatises her she has a miscarriage on stage.

"That's how hard life is. Jan-Jan has to learn macho dancing at his age, for the sake of his family," Revillame says with a laugh.

The besieged host launched a diatribe against his celebrity critics on Friday as he announced a two-week suspension of the top-rating program Willing Willie. "Don't pulverise me. I'm not a bad person. I only want to help the poor," Revillame pleaded in a histrionic 25-minute "farewell" speech, beseeching viewers to "pray for this program to be back on air".

He charged some of The Philippines' top singers and actors with leading a Twitter and Facebook campaign to push advertisers to pull commercials from Willing Willie.

The network has appointed an internal ombudsman to monitor treatment of minors.

Still, the star of Willing Willie is tipped to return to the TV screen.

The forces that put Jan-Jan in the spotlight have elements peculiar to The Philippines, but Manila is not an isolated case.

Across Southeast Asia, in TV game shows, reality programs and talent contests, product launches, advertisements and mainstream films, children and minors under the malleable Asian age of consent are increasingly depicted in a highly sexualised and erotic fashion.

Thai commercial TV broadcasts popular "mini-Thai idol"-style contests showcasing heavily made-up children as young as three in sexy get-up, dancing and singing provocatively.

Similar fare is increasingly dished up to audiences in Indonesia and in poorer Cambodia. Often it's cutesy but more often blatantly pedophile-friendly. In Thailand, where made-up toddler girls sport pink T-shirts saying "I'm Single", the press occasionally reports on controversies surrounding beauty contests for children from the age of three.

The treatment of Southeast Asian children as commodities extends from the mainstream media to bars and brothels.

Experts agree that a pernicious popular and private culture of impunity regarding sexual abuse and trafficking of children still exists in the region and is worsening. According to law enforcement agencies and academic specialists, trafficking and prostitution of young children is on the rise. Thailand today is functioning more as a trafficking hub for child prostitutes and "illegal immigrants" from neighbouring poor countries such as Burma, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam.

A new study backed by the French Research Institute on Contemporary Southeast Asia, "The Trade in Human Beings for Sex in Southeast Asia", edited by Pierre Le Roux, says sex trafficking of women and children, "already widespread internationally, continues to escalate". "Thailand is an emerging epicentre of both sex trafficking and sex tourism", the study says, noting that the first sex tourists are local and regional, followed by the smaller but persistent group of foreigners from outside Asia.

Some figures suggest as many as 250,000 women and children are trafficked annually in Southeast Asia.

Estimates of the number of child prostitutes in Thailand range from fewer than 2000 to the high hundreds of thousands. The Philippines is believed to have more than 100,000 child prostitutes.

Le Roux points to cultural factors, such as Southeast Asian concepts of "sacrifice" and the "younger sibling", as facilitating the prostitution of children and women.

Locals and foreigners often mistakenly think that with economic and social development, the scourge of pedophilia and widespread child prostitution is at least diminishing in Southeast Asia, from the heights of the 1980s and 1990s.

Australians recall pedophiles such as Robert Dunn who were tracked down by journalists and sometimes police. Cambodia has trumpeted the arrests of high-profile foreigners such as Gary Glitter, while local child abusers, the UN and NGOs attest, go unpunished.

Countering the public-relations spin, the US State Department last year placed Thailand, to Bangkok's fury, on the high alert "Tier Two watch list" for only making "limited progress" on combating and prosecuting human trafficking, including child prostitution. The Philippines also shared this ignominious status (second year running), alongside new entrants Vietnam and Laos. Wealthy Singapore appeared on the same US watch list. South Asia is not exempt, with India tagged as a top source, destination and transit country for traffickers.

Gender expert Carina Chotirawe, a professor at Bangkok's Chulalongkorn University, believes more work needs to be done in the region "to shift the consciousness of the parents and society as a whole on the protection of children".

"Depicting them in a sexualised manner is a form of child abuse and it is very worrying to see children appearing in such lewd ways," she says.

"The Revillame show was despicable. It felt like he was prostituting poverty, making the poor pander to him for quick cash fixes, as he does on a daily basis, and never mind if it entails a kid being sexed up and crying as he (Jan-Jan) does so pitifully.

"Willie was acting like God, dispensing patronage to parents inured to the poverty they see as their lot in life -- and if lewdness gets them instant cash, then so be it."

For Chotirawe, a deep-seated "cultural wiring" takes place in Southeast Asia where "kids are conditioned to believe that being sexy and looking grown up will get you far more".

"It devalues education, toil and perseverance," she says.

"In Thailand, you also see this even at kindergarten performances, with girls dressed up, made up and dancing to songs with provocative lyrics.

"It is no wonder that there is a link to child prostitution. Or in milder cases, if they are more well off and are fortunate to escape that predicament, they are lured to become 'Pretties' like the ones you see (parading) at motor shows."

Australian child protection activist Bernadette McMenamin, founder of Child Wise, agrees that the erotic depiction of children in Southeast Asia is bad news for the battle against sex tourism.

"The sexualisation of children is something that is happening worldwide without society really coming to grips with it," she says.

On Spotlight: Bb. Pilipinas-Universe 2011 Shamcey Supsup

Shamcey Supsup was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2011 and succeeded last year's winner Maria Venus Raj during the pageant's finals last night in Araneta.

As the new Binibining Pilipinas Universe titleholder, Shamcey Supsup will represent the Philippines in Miss Universe 2011 to be held in Sao Paolo, Brazil this September and hopes to duplicate what Venus achieved in the Miss Universe 2010 pageant.

Shamcey is 24 years old from General Santos City and a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Architecture from UP Diliman.

She was also the topnotcher, as in 1st placer, during the Architecture Board Exam in June 2010.

Shamcey definitely got the 3 Bs: Beauty, Body and Brain.

Pageant fans not only in the Philippines but also those from other countries have high hopes that she will do well in Miss Universe 2011.

Here is her answer during the Q & A portion of the pageant:

Judge: With what worthy cause do you identify yourself and why?

Shamcey: "I think one worthy cause I can identify myself is valuing education coz I believe that education is something that cannot be taken away from you. You can have money, you can have fame, but in the end they can be taken away from you. But education will always be there to help you in your life. Thank you."

On Spotlight: Bb. Pilipinas-International 2011 Dianne Necio

Bicolana beauty Dianne Elaine Necio has finally won a Binibining Pilipinas title.

Last night, Dianne Necio won as Binibining Pilipinas-International 2011, a year after she finished 1st Runner Up during the Binibining Pilipinas 2010 pageant.

If last year she represented Iriga City, Dianne represented Polangui, Albay this year and she won.

Dianne stands 5'5 1/2" and turned 19 just last month.

A pageant veteran, she has joined 4 pageants in Bicol before joinining Binibining Pilipinas. She was Miss Tabak 2009, Miss Iriga 2009, 1st Runner Up in Miss Bicolandia 2009 and 2nd Runner Up to the late Melody Gershbach in the 2009 Mutya ng Magayon pageant.

Another pride of Bicol (Philippines' beauty capital), Dianne has successfully continued the winning streak of Bicolana beauties in Binibining Pilipinas which started when Melody won as Binibining Pilipinas International in 2009 and then Venus Raj as Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2010.

(Former "Binibini" titlists Miriam Quiambao and Precious Lara Quigaman, who happen to be Bicolanas too and were among the hosts last night, probably brought some luck to Dianne.)

Bicolana titlists usually fare well in international pageants. Melody, Venus, Miriam and Precious all entered the semis (Precious even won title) when they competed internationally. Dianne definitely should also achieve that when she competes in China this October for the Miss International 2011 pageant.

Dianne is also the girlfriend of PBB Teen Clash 2010 ex-housemate and "Mutya" actor Jovic Susim.

Here is the answer of Dianne Necio during the Q & A Portion:

Judge: What is your biggest accomplishment to date? And what is your biggest goal in the next 12 months?

Dianne: "My greatest achievement was winning last year in Binibining Pilipinas as 1st Runner Up and my goal is to win in this competition one of the crowns and hopefully bring home the crown from international pageant. Thank you."

On Spotlight: Bb. Pilipinas-Tourism 2011 Isabella Manjon

Isabella Manjon from Pasig City was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Tourism 2011, one of the three major titles of the pageant.

The title she won was a replacement for the Binibinining Pilipinas - World (Miss Philippines World) title, which starting this year is no longer under the Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc.

Isabella Angela Manjon is 23 years old and stands 5'7".

A Fil-Spanish beauty, Isabella is a registered nurse and a part-time commercial model.

She graduated from the University of the East-Ramon Magsaysay (UERM) and passed the Nursing Board Exam in July 2010.

It was her first time to join a beauty pageant.

Here is Isabella's answer during the finals' Question and Answer (Q&A) portion:

Judge: Is a father capable of carrying out the duties of a mother, and vice versa?

Isabella: "For me I believe that a man can also do the job of a woman. I believe that God made us all equally and if we are all equal, we could also do anything with God's grace. Thank you!"

Bb. Pilipinas 2011 Winners Share Excitement

The crowd in Araneta Colisem broke into wild applause as their candidates for Binibining Pilipinas 2011 paraded on stage Sunday night. From 40 candidates competing for the crown, the competition was trimmed down to 15 semi-finalists.

Special awards were given out to Queenie Rehman for Best in Swim Suit, Luzelle Felipe for Best in Long Gown and Angela Ong for the People's Choice for the Face of Binibining Pilipinas 2011.

Mary Jean Lastimosa was named second runner-up and Janine Tugonon, first runner-up.

Making it to the top 3 were Isabella Manjon, Bb. Pilipinas-Tourism; Dianne Necia, Bb. Pilipinas-International and Shamcey Supsup, Bb. Pilipinas-Universe.

"I didn't expect talaga… Pero salamat at sinagot na ni God iyong dasal ko na magka-korona!," Necio said.

"Ang lamig pa nga ng kamay ko…," Manjon added.

Meanwhile, Supsup admitted that she feels pressure in following the lead of Venus Raj who became Miss Universe 4th runner-up.

"Of course (pressured), but I'll just do my best when I'm there, that's all I can do," Supsup said.

Saying this is the best batch of candidates they ha've had for the competition so far, pageant organizers are confident that the country's Bb. Pilipinas 2011 winners will bring home the crowns from international beauty pageants.

Ai-Ai delas Alas is Now Officially the Box Office Queen

It's final. Queen of Comedy Ai Ai delas Alas has been recognized as the Box Office Queen of 2010 by the 42nd Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation Entertainment Awards.

Delas Alas, herself, shared her excitement on her latest achievement during an interview on popular Sunday show "The Buzz",

"Thank you God sa lahat ng blessing. At sa lahat ng sumusuporta sa akin lalo na ang Guillermo Mendoza," delas Alas said.

The foundation's Box Office Queen of 2010 prize became controversial after reports surfaced that supporters and the mother of actress and TV host Toni Gonzaga allegedly appealed that the latter be included in the list of those being considered for the award for her hit movie "My Amnesia Girl" with John Lloyd Cruz. Gonzaga, however, deniedthe reports.

"Minsan nga naisip ko bakit ayaw nilang tanggapin na ako ito. Siguro sanay tayo na nananalo sa industriya natin, na ang nananalo palagi Box office, Best Actress ay puro dramatic actress. Ngayon na lang na nanalo ako, na comedian ako," delas Alas replied when asked why intrigues hounded her getting the award.

Aside from delas Alas, Prince of Comedy Vic Sotto and senator and actor Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. are Guillermo Mendoza Awards’ 2010 Box Office Kings for their fantasy movie "Si Agimat at si Enteng Kabisote."

In December of last year, delas Alas won the Best Actress trophy at the 36th Metro Manila Film Festival for her Star Cinema's comedy film "Ang Tanging Ina Mo (Last Na 'To).”

The foundation's awards night will be held on May 8 at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium at the RCBC Plaza on Ayala Avenue in Makati City.

Kim Chiu on Binondo Girl

Actress Kim Chiu shared her excitement about her latest television series "Binondo Girl."

“Masaya po ako dahil hindi ako pinapabayaan ng ABS-CBN. Masaya ako na binibigyan nila ako ng mga ganitong klaseng proyekto at malaki ang tiwala nila sa akin. Siyempre hindi ko babaliwalin ang binigay nila sa akin," Chiu said during a press conference about her newest show.

Chiu said her role in "Binondo Girl" is more challenging than her previous projects.

"Isa siyang challenging role for me. More on for family tapos may konting love. Challenging pero exciting," she said.

"Dito iba siya kasi hindi lang isa ang makakapareho ko, madami sila. Iba ang kwento at ang daming challenge na pagdadaanan ng character. At masaya ang mga kasama ko ang gagaling nila," she added.

In the series, Chiu will have three leading men -- Xian Lim, Matteo Guidicelli and Jolo Revilla.

"Nakaka-excite, first time ko silang maka-trabaho. Actually, si Matteo nakasama ko na sa 'Your Song.' Si Zian, nakasama ko pero saglit lang sa 'Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin.' Sobrang excited," she said.

"Binondo Girl" will also star Glydel Mercado, Cherry Pie Picache and Ai Ai delas Alas.

According to Chiu, the series is really close to her heart since it will showcase the life of a Chinese family.

She divulged she will be speaking Chinese in some scenes of the series.

Without Gerald

Another challenge for Chiu is the fact that she won't be with her long-time on-screen partner and rumored ex-boyfriend Gerald Anderson.

"Yun nga po ang challenge para sa akin. Lahat ng series ko, kasama ko si Gerald. Ngayon, kakaibang series itong Binondo Girl," the actress said.

“Lahat ng series may pressure, hindi naman kampante dapat. Siyempre makakadagdag ng motivation yung pressure, pero kampante naman ako sa project kong ito at sigurado ako sa sarili ko na kakayanin ko,” she added.

Chiu vowed she will give her best in the series, even without Anderson.

"Basta ako masaya ako sa binigay na proyekto sa akin at sisiguraduhin ko na mamahalin ang trabaho ko," she said.

When asked about reports that Anderson will have a cameo role in "Binondo Girl," Chiu replied: "Hindi ko po alam, wala pa pong sinasabi."

Lauren Young Reveals Doing Stunts in Mula Sa Puso

Lauren Young didn’t have second thoughts about doing a kidnapping scene in “Mula sa Puso” that required her to be placed inside a drum and also stay under water for a long time.

“The first time I did it, I really had trouble breathing,” Lauren shared.

Being very dedicated to her role as Via, Lauren still repeated the scene as required by Director Wenn Deramas despite her scary first take.

“I really don’t want to do it again because its scary down there but I just have to do it. They already took a shot of me in the first place so I might as well go though with it.”

Even her on-screen loveteam JM De Guzman was all praises for her with her boldness to do the stunt.

“It’s amazing because you wouldn’t think Lauren would agree to do a dangerous scene like that. Wala siyang arte sa katawan,” said JM.

More breathtaking and romantic scenes will surely happen this week as Gabriel and Via get closer to each other. Magda and Selina will also cross paths after a very long time.

What will happen when Magda sees Selina whom she really despises? Will Magda summon the courage to tell Via about her past and the possibility of her being her biological mom? Or will Selina once again pull her strings to plot an evil scheme to stop her?

Don’t miss “Mula sa Puso,” airing Mondays to Fridays, 6:00 PM before “TV Patrol” on ABS-CBN.

Celebrities Not Bothered With Willie Revillame's Threat to Sue Them

“I was within my rights to comment and express my opinion, I live in a democracy,” ani Lea sa isang interview kamakailan. “Kung susuriin ang mga sinabi namin bilang mamamayan ng Pilipinas, may karapatan kaming magsalita, bumatikos…nothing personal. Wala akong ininsulto na kahit sinong tao.”

Ininterview naman ng The Buzz ang isang abogado para kunin ang kanyang opinyon para sa usaping ito. “Wala pa kasing kaso dyan,” simula ni Atty. Harry Roque ng University of the Philippines College of Law.
