Erich Gonzales Turned 20 Today!

Young actress Erich Gonzales turned 20 today.

Born Erika Chryselle Gonzales Gancayco, Gonzales started her career in show business in 2005 when she joined ABS-CBN's reality talent search Star Circle National Teen Quest.

In an interview with “The Buzz,” Gonzales admitted that her life changed after she joined the entertainment industry.

For one, she pointed out that she is now living away from her family, who is based in Davao City, because of her work.

"Nakaka-sad sobra po pero nandito ako nagtra-trabaho naman para sa kanila. And I'm sure kung ano ang narating ko ngayon ay sobrang happy sila dahil nandiyan sila para sa akin," she said.

Gonzales said she draws strength from her family, who inspires her to give her best and stay longer in showbiz.

She appeared in many ABS-CBN shows, but her biggest break came last year when she was given the lead role in "Katorse." After "Katorse," she played the president's daughter in "Tanging Yaman."

This year, she will star in her first mainstream film under Star Cinema, with her long-time on-screen partner Enchong Dee.

The film titled, "I Do," will have its premiere on September 29.

The Powers of Erik Santos

This coming days, singing champion Erik Santos will show his powers. He is set to host ABS-CBN’s upcoming talent search program, "Star Power," with Megastar Sharon Cuneta. He will also have his concert entitled "Power of 1".

In an interview with “The Buzz,” Santos said he's happy that ABS-CBN is giving him a chance to showcase not only his singing and acting talents but his hosting skill as well.

"Lahat ng bagay ay nagfa-fall into place. So, lahat ng ginagawa ko ngayon ay biyaya from the Lord. So hindi planado," Santos said.

Santos added that what makes his TV project extra-special is the fact that he will be working with the megastar.

"It's a dream come true for me. Alam po ng buong mundo na true blue Sharonian ako and working with her talagang ilo-look forward ko ‘yong every single taping na magkakaroon kami," he said.

Santos also quickly clarified that his singing career remains his top priority amid his many projects. In fact, he is now gearing for his upcoming concert.

Santos said, for the first time, he will be producing his own show titled "Power of 1."

"Actually it's a major, major concert kasi two nights po siya na concert at the Meralco Theater on September 24 and 25," Santos said.

Rachel Ann Go, Regine Velasquez, Piolo Pascual and Martin Nievera are his special guests.
