Anne Curtis Ousts Marian Rivera on SM Residences Endorsement

Anne Curtis is the new endorser of SM Development Corporation (SMDC) SM Residences condominium. Marian Rivera was (and still is, until January 2011) the endorser of the SM Residences mid to high-end condo properties of SMDC, but was unceremoniously dropped for Anne (her contract started Dec.1). The unofficial reason, if the kibitzers would be believed, is that SMDC daw is alarmed at the spate of bad publicity that Marian Rivera has been getting. Specifically, the questions on her character and behavior as a person, in short, her bad manners daw! SMDC deemed it daw to have Anne Curtis represent the SM Residences mid to high-end condo properties of SMDC as its endorser, because Anne Curtis daw gives a positive vibe and a more classy sophistication.

mas may class naman kase si anne curtis to endorse condominiums. family nga ni dingdong is already questioning if he really wanted to marry marian na walang breeding eh. :)

Me and a handful of my friends, were looking into buying one of the SM condo,but since they dropped Marian as an endorser,we also dropped the plan..sorry.We just dont feel Anne para siyang..

Nakakatawa naman na bibili ka lang ng condo dahil kay Marian Rivera. Maxado ka namang assuming.

Marian Rivera has no breeding, no class and apparently acts uneducated eventhough she graduated with a degree in Psychology. She is mean and she does bad things to innocent people SMDC made a great decision to ditch her. She's not worthy as a model because there is nothing admirable about her qualities.

nalugi smdc kasi walang class si marian .. nag muka tuloy CHEAP ! ang smdc .. kaya si anne ang kaylanga .. mas sophisticated ang classy ! :)

actually maganda rin naman si marian but her attitude is super ugly! stealing bf, pangaaway ng tao, pamimintang, madaling magalit, walang control, super yabang, at obvious na pagiging palengkera. Nakakaturn OFF talaga. tama lang ginawa ng SMDC na palitan sya.

Umm, where the heck did you learn that Ding Dong's family questions Marian? FYI, I'm friends w/ a family member of Ding Dong, and she thinks that Karylle's a snub and Marian's waayy more friendly. I like Anne. I also like Marian. Please stop judging Marian and believing rumors about her. Just respect SMDC's decision.

---TRUE. SMDC friends told me that their sales plunged during Marian's reign and the decision to get Anne bore fruit. Why, of course, Marian cant even speak English during interviews without cuecards...And the palengkera attitude so makes her not deserving of her glory.

ganun ba...hidi marunong mag english???kaya pala sya lang ang kauna-unahang young actress na kasama sa nag cut ng ribbon....lol
and its true have some friends also na super like si MR nakipag-usap na sila sa mga staff ng SM residence bayaran na sana ng down payment but nung nalaman na hindi na si MR ang endorser umayaw na sila...may mga tao talagangsa super ;loyal sa artista kung anong inendorse nito gagayahin din...smile people..lht ng endorser napapalitan hindi pwedeng siya at siya lang:)))

All those saying that Marian Rivera has no breeding, etc...look in the mirror, why don't you? You are abeing judgmental...that tells me that you guys have no breeding. If you do, then, you will have the decency not to attack someone you do not even know...Why? Because she's not in channel 2?

And for your info...Marian was not let go by SMDC...her contract was in fact extended. But companies change endorsers, nature of the buisness...they just went with another endorser...doesn't mean they think Marian is wrong for the company. In fact, SMDC even gave Marian some stocks of the company, as gratitude for helping make SMDC number 1...so those saying that SMDC sales plunged when Marian was their endorser are talking through your ass. Marian helped that company a lot.

And about the guys who said that he changed his mind when Marian is no longer the endorser...I see where you are coming from. The whole point of aqn endorser is to get people to buy what they are selling...and Marian is very convincing. I did contemplate buying an SMDC condo unit at Katipunan, as an investment...but I changed my mind when Marian is no longer the endorser. Nothing against Anne. And Marian was not the only reason I was thinking of buying. My excitement over the idea just went poof! I chose to look for a lot to invest in, instead.
